The Hawaii and Pacific Section provides reference and readers' advisory services to a worldwide audience using a wide variety of resources: books, pamphlets, government documents, periodicals, maps, microforms, and electronic databases. The Section covers all subjects pertaining to Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, as well as fiction, biographies, and magazines for these regions.
The Newspaper Index, a subject guide to the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Honolulu Advertiser, and Honolulu Star-Advertiser, is generated by this section.
