Forms and Publications


The Internal Revenue Service will not be sending out unsolicited tax forms this year. They are encouraging e-filing or picking up the forms at a public library. You may still order forms and publications by mail or download them from IRS Forms and Publications page. Call 1-800-829-3676 to place an order. More information can be found at Internal Revenue Service website.

The Federal Documents Section participates in the Tax Forms Outlet Program (TFOP) distribution of Federal tax forms. The following is a list of public libraries that participate in TFOP, where you can find Federal tax forms and booklets.

  • Internal Revenue Bulletin for IRS Rules and Procedures from 1975 to present
  • CCH Federal Tax Guide, a detailed explanation of the current Federal tax laws to 2009 tax year. Due to lack of funding, the subscription to the CCH Federal Tax Guide is not being renewed.
  • U.S. Master Tax Guide, a summary of the CCH Federal Tax Guide
  • Public Internet access to the IRS Website
